Ethel and Lucy in the chocolate factory was one of my all time faves! So nice to see your greenhouse in action--maybe a bigger heater for next year if they go on sale so you can both stay under the warm covers? I have a gardening book collection which has a few Ontario specific books, my go-to guides, but an emotional favourite is "The Wild Braid" by Stanley Kunitz.

Tui, I like the sound of "The Wild Braid." I am usually hopeless with poetry, but a poetry+gardening mashup sounds promising. My library doesn't have it so I just ordered a used copy.

He was a lifelong gardener; these are prose musings about his love of growing things, not poetry. I hope you love it.
