It’s easy to think of fencing as containment, or in some cases, as defense. But for us the construction of our first fences here at Willow Greens Farm is less about limitation and more about liberation.
I would much rather lay dry-stone than pull wire (and that project is coming up soon!). But there is a great deal of satisfaction when everything snaps into place.
That's a pretty impressive bunch of fence work, Chris, particularly as you did it by yourself. I like how it doesn't intrude on the landscape but fits in nicely. Dear Woody (I was a fan).
