June crept in with little fanfare here at Willow Greens Farm, bringing incremental growth, some truly outstanding weather, and its share of setbacks and successes.

I think that our barn (I have a stunning photo of two 5’+ rat snakes, hanging from the eaves while mating) could qualify as an hibernaculum.
Chipmunks are definitely doing some gardening in my backyard too! They also love pulling out the tiny corn stalks that have just started to sprout!
Ahh, maybe I’ll let some go and see if the chipmunks organize a harvest
